Seven members of dacoit gang arrested, looted money, motorcycles recovered
The police recovered 11 motorcycles snatched at gun point
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Police on Sunday apprehended at least seven members of a dacoit gang involved in snatching motorbikes and recoved Rs 190,000 cash, 11 motorcycles, weapons and other items.
As per the details, a police team under the supervision of SHO Bani Police Station carried out a raid and managed to detain seven members of a dacoit gang involved in snatching motorcycles. Several cases had been registered against the men in different police stations.
11 motorcycles, weapons and other items were recovered from the possession of the arrested dacoits.
During the interrogation, the arrested men confessed to their involvement in bike snatching and other criminal activities in different areas.
A case has been registered against them while further investigation is underway.
The SHO informed that the gang members had been sent to jail for identification parade.
