Gujrat police arrests fake NAB team, recovers forged documents
GUJRAT (Dunya News) - Gujrat Police in a major operation on Wednesday arrested a fake team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and recovered a fake vehicle, summons, letters, cards and other documents from their possession.
According to details, three members of the fake NAB team raided the house of a citizen named Muhammad Afzal. The citizen became suspicious and called ‘15’ and the police took timely action and arrested the three men.
Police officials said that the accused entered the house posing as NAB officers and tried to take away the homeowner after threatening him with a serious case registered against in NAB Islamabad.
According to the police, a case has been registered against four accused and they have been taken into custody.
