Main accused in Maira murder case appears before police, denies murder charges
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The main accused in Maira murder case appeared before the police to record his statement and denied the murder charges.
After availing interim bail in the case Saad Amir But appeared before the police. Recording his statement, Saad stated that he was sleeping at his house when Maira was murdered.
The accused said he did not kill Maira who was his friend and later their friendship was broken adding that he never tried to kidnap Maira. Maira later became friends with Jadoon, he said.
He said that Maira tried to register a kidnapping case against him but he was freed by ASP Sidra after hearing the matter from both sides.
It may be recalled that the ASP had released him after hearing the position of both sides.
An FIR was registered by the police in the murder case. The case was handed over to CIA Lahore.
