Peshawar: CTD arrests key member of banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a member of banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar with explosives during an operation in Peshawar.
According to details, the Counter Terrorism Department acted on a tip-off on the Northern Bypass near Charsadda Road in Peshawar, during which a key member of the banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar was arrested.
A hand grenade, a pistol and cartridge were recovered from the arrested accused.
The Counter Terrorism Department has registered a case against the accused under the Anti-Terrorism Act and started further investigation. According to CTD, important revelations are expected from the accused.
