Karachi: A boy shot by stray police bullet
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A boy was injured after a stray police bullet hit him while playing in the street in Karachi.
Four days ago, while chasing dacoits police fired shots, one of the bullet hit the boy injuring him within the limits of Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station an area of Karachi.
According to the family, the injured Muneeb is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. Muneeb has been shot in the kidney, bullet is still stuck inside his body. The children were playing cricket in the street at the time of the incident.
Father of the boy said, that in front of my eyes, my child was shot at close range by a police official. The family demanded from the higher authorities that action be taken against the negligent officers.
