Nowshera: Seven killed in clash between two groups
NOWSHERA (Dunya News) - At least seven people were killed and several others injured in a clash between two groups in Nowshera.
According to police, the tragic incident took place in Spin Kany an area of Nowshera where seven people were killed in exchange of fire between two groups over job dispute on a government tube well.
Candidates from both groups wanted to be recruited. One group s candidate was not recruited, which caused the disputed.
Seven people, including two women, were killed in the firing. The deceased have been identified as Gul-Shad, Tahir, Umar, Sajeela Bibi, Bakhtiar, Misal Khan and Zabid Khan.
As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy contingent of police and rescue team reached the spot. Officers took control of the area, while ambulances transported the dead and injured to hospitals.
