Three men murder sister, cousin in Karachi 'honor killing'
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Three men in Karachi killed their sister and a male cousin in a so-called ‘honor killing’ in the city’s Manghopir police station area.
According to details, the murder was committed using a sharp weapon in Karachi’s Khairabad area in the jurisdiction of Manghopir police station. According to police, both victims were killed in the name of honor. The slain sister was identified as Dar Bibi while the cousin was identified as Mukhtiar Ali.
Police say that Dar Bibi’s husband is based in Saudi Arabia and she was regularly visited by her cousin late at night. As a result, Dar Bibi’s brothers killed both of them.
Police said that a case of the incident has been registered at Manghopir police station. Two of the killers, Zafarullah and Aslam, have been arrested while the third brother Amanullah is still at large. Police is carrying out raids to arrest him as well.
