Karachi: Suspect arrested for scamming PPP leaders
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Police arrested a suspected involved in scamming Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) members and senior leaders, taking money from them on the name of MNA Shahida Rehmani and Faryal Talpur.
According to details, a case has been registered against the arrested suspect on the complaint of Shahida Rehmani’s son Hilal Saeed in Gulshan-e-Maymar police station. The accused used to demand money through WhatsApp from high profile political leaders of PPP. Many leaders transferred money through easypaisa.
The accused sent text massages to MNA Qadir Patel, Palwasha Khan and Imdad Pitafi along with MNA Naz Baloch, Agha Rafiullah and Shagufta Jamani.
MNA Abrar Hussain Shah and Shazia Sanghar also received messages from the accused.
According to Hilal Saeed, son of MNA Shahida Rehmani, his mother s reputation was damaged by the accused s actions and demanded severe punishment.
