Woman confesses to setting ablaze children alive in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A woman has confessed to burning her two children alive in Lahore over a domestic dispute with husband.
According to details, the investigation police shifted the mother, who burned her two children alive in Manga Mandi area of Lahore, to the women’s police station on Lytton Road, Lahore.
Police registered a case against the woman on children s grandmother complaint. Tanzeela confessed to the brutality and said that her husband used to torture her at the behest of her mother-in-law. To take revenge and teach a lesson to her husband she burned the children.
The statement of Azan, the eldest son of the accused and a survivor of the shocking incident, has also given his statement. Azan said that his two younger brothers, Abdul Rehman and Faizan were sleeping in the room while he was lying with them. He said his mother set the room on fire and he ran outside to save his life.
According to the children s grandmother, accused used to torture her children.
On the other hand, the funeral prayers of the two deceased children Faizan and Abdul Rehman were offered while the whole area was in mourning.
