Police seize over 40kg of drugs in Chiniot operation, arrest smuggler
CHINIOT (Dunya News) - City Police Station conducted an operation near Lahore Road intersection on Wednesday. A blockade was set up on a tip off and as a result, more than 40kg cannabis and opium were recovered from an inter-district drug smuggler.
According to details, City Police arrested the drug dealer who had hidden more than 40kg of cannabis and opium in secret compartments of his vehicle.
Police said that the inter-district drug smuggler, Zeeshan, is a resident of Islamabad and has been involved in drug trade for a long time.
Further investigation of Zeeshan is underway and important revelations are expected by the police force, including DPO Bilal Zafar.
