SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) – At least four people have been killed and several others wounded after two groups opened fire at each other following heated arguments in Shikarpur’s suburban village Amoort Sharif.

According to police, the incident took place at Amoort Sharif village in Shikarpur between two groups of Juneja and Dal tribes over agricultural land dispute.

Both groups clashed and fired at each other after heated arguments, in which four people died on the spot while several sustained injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Rasool Bakhsh Junejo, Sanaullah Dal, Abdul Wahab Dal and Asghar Junejo.

The bodies were shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities, while the wounded men were rushed to Larkana due to critical condition.

Following the incident, a group set ablaze tires on the Indus Highway and blocked the road.
