Two killed during robbery in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Armed robbers have killed two people in an attempt to loot a truck in Shams Colony at IJP road in Islamabad. Police failed to apprehend the culprits.
After the roadblocks were removed the robbers are looting people freely in the Federal Capital during daytime. The safest city has become a crime center. The robbers tried to rob a truck on IJP Road in Shams Colony police station. When the driver did not stop the truck, the robbers indiscriminately opened fire, killing two people.
According to police, the policemen on patrol chased the motorcyclists but the accused fled after leaving motorcycle behind.
The motorcycle was seized by the police. The investigation was being carried out using modern technology and geo-fencing.
Five people have been killed in different firing incidents in the federal capital over the past three days.
