Father, son killed over monetary dispute in Wazirabad
WAZIRABAD (Dunya News) - A father and his newly-wed son were killed over a monetary dispute in Ghakhar an area of Wazirabad.
According to details, due to a previous altercation over a monetary dispute in Ghakhar area of Wazirabad, the accused opened fire and killed father and his newly-wed son who returned to Pakistan last month from Italy. The suspects managed to escape after shooting.
Inayat Awan and his young son Kashif Inayat, a resident on the outskirts of Ghakhar area of Wazirabad, were shot dead by two brothers from the same neighborhood along with their accomplice.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the deceased Kashif was married two days ago and returned home from Italy last month.
Kashif s father Inayat Awan had a monetary dispute with the accused.
The accused shot and seriously injured the unarmed father and son. Inayat Awan died on the spot while his young son died at the hospital.
The news of the murder of the victims caused chaos in the area. The accused managed to escape from the scene while Ghakhar police station is busy in investigating.
