Karachi: Customs foils attempt to smuggle mobile phones worth Rs13 million

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Customs foiled a smuggling attempt by seizing mobile phones worth millions of rupees from a truck heading from Quetta to Karachi.

According to a customs spokesman, the staff of Quetta-Karachi Highway Customs raided a truck carrying a tanker from Kod Khera check post Quetta to Karachi and recovered 976 foreign brand mobile phones and tablets from its secret compartments.

The seized mobile phones and tablets worth more than Rs13 million. Customs personnel have also seized the truck and registered a case.
