Maid kills 85-yr-old employer in Karachi, arrested by police
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The owner of a bungalow in Gulberg area of Karachi was killed by her maid Saturday morning. The killer was quickly apprehended by the police and arrested.
According to police, the maid, Arifah, was robbing her employer’s house in Gulberg Block 5 early in the morning. The 85-year-old woman who owned the house caught her in the act, after which Arifah strangled the feeble woman. The body of the victim was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post mortem.
According to police, the arrested maid is a resident of Musa Colony and belongs to South Punjab. She had been working in the bungalow for the past four years.
