Pak Navy, ANF seize drugs being smuggled through Arabian Sea
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Navy and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted a joint operation on Friday and seized 200kg of ice and 99kg of Crystal off Jiwani, Baluchistan.
A statement issued after the operation said that the drugs, valued at approximately Rs 1.8 billion, were to be smuggled to an unknown destination through the Arabian Sea. The seized drugs have been handed over to ANF for further legal proceedings.
It said that the successful execution of the joint operation is a demonstration of Paksitan navy’s resolve to counter illegal activities in the Maritime Zones of Pakistan and promote maritime security in the region.
