Extortion cases on rise in Karachi again
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The extortion cases have increased again in Karachi, a citizen has received a slip demanding extortion money within the limits of Frere police station.
According to details a citizen has received an extortion slip in Frere Chandio Village, Ismail Plaza. According to police officials, two bullets of 30 bore pistol were also sent along with the extortion slip. It was written on the slip that, pay one million rupees or be killed.
The victim contacted the police after which an investigation has been started. Two days ago, a builder in Bahadurabad also received an extortion slip.
On the other hand, a key associate of the White Car Gang was arrested in Shah Latif Town. According to SSP Irfan Bahadur, the arrested accused Sadiq used to rob people leaving the banks with the money. The accused was wanted in cases of firing on the police, murder and attempted murder.
