Karachi: Police, Rangers arrest five accused in joint operations

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Five accused involved in street crimes and other offenses were arrested during joint operations of police and Rangers in Karachi and search operations in different areas.

On the other hand, the decapitated body of a newborn baby was found near Isa Nagri cemetery.

According to the spokesman of Sindh Rangers, in collaboration with the police in Karachi, two accused involved in various incidents of street crime were arrested.

The arrested accused Adnan alias Kaku and Noor alias Noori had robbed more than Rs300,000 at the Pakwan Center in Frontier Colony.

The accused were arrested with the help of CCTV while a man was arrested with heavy weapons and handed over to the police during a search operation conducted by Rangers in different areas of the city.

On the other hand, the criminal record of two accused injured in a police encounter in Malir Madina Town last night came to light. The arrested accused were involved in habitual crimes and serious crimes.

The cases registered against the arrested accused Laiq and Irfan include firing on police, robbery and attempted murder.
