Two killed, one seriously injured over property dispute in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Two people were killed and another seriously injured in a property dispute in Mughalpura area of Lahore. The injured man was shifted to hospital in critical condition.
According to the police, the two people were killed in the area of Mughalpura Ganj Bazaar over a property dispute between a man and his nephew. The accused, Fayyaz alias Bawa, first had an argument and then opened indiscriminate fire.
SP Civil Lines Raza Safdar Qazmi visited the crime scene and police collected all the evidence. Police also summoned the Forensic Science Agency, whose personnel collected bullet shells and other pieces of evidence.
Shopkeepers Ilyas and Iftikhar were killed and Javed was injured in the firing incident, he was later shifted to Services Hospital. However, the shooter, Fayyaz, managed to flee the crime scene before the police arrived.
Police said that the accused would be arrested as soon as possible and action would be taken as per law.
