Gunman killed in exchange of fire with security forces in Quetta
QUETTA (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel and gunmen exchanged fire in Quetta on Tuesday, in which one of the gunmen was killed.
According to police, CTD personnel were on their way to Nawan Kali when armed men opened fire on them, after which CTD personnel also returned fire. One of the shooters was killed in the exchange of fire.
CTD personnel have arrested his accomplice and four Kalashnikovs have also been recovered from the possession of the shooters. The body of the dead gunman was shifted to Civil Hospital for postmortem where he was identified as Ali Muhammad, a local resident.
CTD officials say an investigation is underway into the man killed in the exchange of fire.
