Three arrested for injuring civilians over sewerage issue in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A fight broke out among the residents of Fatehgarh area over the issue of raising the street due to the sewerage problem. The accused were arrested after a notice was issued by CCPO Lahore.
According to details, Muhammad Amir, a resident of Harbanspura, Fatehgarh, tried to raise the sewerage issue with the neighbors. Imtiaz who was also a resident of the area started arguing and armed himself, along with his relatives tortured women and men.
Two civilians were injured in the firing of the accused. Lahore News obtained CCTV footage of the incident. In the footage, the accused can be seen torturing the citizens. The accused can also be seen firing.
Police have registered a case and started the investigation. The accused were arrested after the notice of CCPO Lahore Omar Sheikh. The armed men include Mushtaq, Babar and Zahid.
