Indian woman accuses five cops of gang rape
(Web Desk) - A20-year-old woman accused of murder has alleged that she was gang-raped by five police officials over ten days. The crime reportedly happened in a jail of Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district.
She made the accusation before an additional district judge, saying that she was kept in the lock-up and gang-raped by the Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP), the police station in-charge and three other constables, who then intimidated her into silence.
The woman is now in the custody of the police and the judge has ordered a judicial inquiry into the matter. He has directed officials to take action against those involved in the heinous crime.
