Police register case against citizen for refusing polio vaccine in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - A case has been registered against citizen for refusing to vaccinate children against polio in Faisalabad.
According to details, this was the second incident of such nature when Polio team has faced abuse and scuffle from the citizens after they refused to vaccinate their children against polio.
When the polio team reached the house of Sohaib, a resident of City Town area of City Samundari police station in Faisalabad, to vaccinate children, the citizen got into a scuffle with the polio team and refused to vaccinate children.
Police has registered a case against the citizen on the complaint of polio team in-charge Uzma Siddique.
It may be recalled that the same incident of resistance against the polio team had also come to light in the area of City Samundari yesterday.
Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Muhammad Ali said that strict legal action would be taken against those who obstructed the campaign.
