Female doctor commits suicide due to domestic violence in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A female doctor has committed suicide in Defense Phase four area of Karachi due to domestic violence. Police have started investigation and the weapons used in the incident was seized.
According to details, a case of alleged suicide has come to light due to domestic violence of a doctor named Maha in Defense.
According to police, Maha had taken up residence with her family in the present house 15 days ago. A 9mm pistol used in the incident has also been seized. Further investigation is underway regarding the weapons.
According to police officials, Maha was shot in the left side of the head and the bullet came out from the right side. Maha s mobile data and close friends will also be questioned.
Initially, the incident looked as domestic violence, but a case will be registered after Maha s burial in Mirpur Khas.
