19 years old girl gang raped during robbery in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A 19-year-old girl working as a compounder at a clinic was raped by robbers in the provincial capital Lahore during an alleged robbery.
Lahore Police said that the Superintendent of Police (SP), Central Investigation Agency (CIA) was conducting an inquiry on the instructions of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Zulfiqar Hameed.
According to the police, the Superintendent of Police Central Investigation Agency (SPCIA) along with the investigation team has inspected the crime scene and said that the accused would be arrested soon.
Complainant Dr. Muhammad Anwar in the First Information Report (FIR) lodged in the Gujjarpura Police stations Lahore has said that he works in the X-ray technician ward of Mayo Hospital and part-time runs his own clinic under the name of Bismillah Clinic in Sagyan village from 6 to 10 P.m.
The complainant in the FIR said that his 18 or 19 year old neighbor also works at the clinic and he also takes her to clinic with him and on July 1 he closed his clinic at 10:20 pm and on their way back to home, they were surrounded by four armed men from both sides of the fields as they approached the corn fields a short distance from Sagyan village.
The complainant said that the robbers snatched his identity card, mobile phone and wallet at gunpoint and also snatched the purse of the girl who was with him, which contained keys of the house, two gold earrings and Rs 10,000.
According to the FIR, two robbers pulled a weapon on the complainant and stopped him while two robbers raped the girl.
The robbers snatched the keys of his motorcycle and fled after raping the girl.
According to sources, the police have claimed to have arrested two suspects.
