Robbers loot Rs15 Million in Karachi bank heist
The robbers escaped the crime scene on motorcycles
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Despite roadblocks and lockdowns across the country, particularly Karachi, criminals are still active in the city. In the latest such incident, a private bank in Korangi area of Karachi was robbed in broad daylight. The robbers looted an amount of Rs 15 million and escaped successfully.
According to details, the robbery took place in Korangi No. 6 area of Karachi and police say that five robbers were involved in the incident. The robbers managed to loot Rs 15 million from the private bank and easily escaped the crime scene.
According to SSP Korangi, one robber was wearing a helmet while the other four had masks on and all of them escaped on motorcycles.
SSP Korangi further said that there are initial reports that the robbers also stole the DVR of the CCTV cameras in a bid to erase evidence.
