Elder brother accidentally shot dead by child in Lahore
9yr old Rehan shot his elder brother with his uncle's firearm
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A young child accidentally shot his elder brother dead in Barki area on the outskirts of Lahore.
According to Police, 9 year old Rehan was holding his uncle s pistol and his 11 year old brother, Haider, tried to grab the firearm from him resulting in the trigger being pulled during the struggle. Haider was shot in the abdomen and died on the spot.
Police have said that after the trigger was pulled, the bullet grazed Rehan’s finger, injuring him, before hitting Haider in the abdomen. Reportedly, the family has refused to conduct Haider s postmortem or take any legal action however further investigation of the incident is underway.
