16 suspects allegedly involved in drug peddling, dacoity arrested in Karachi
The suspects were handed over to police for further legal action.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police and rangers in joint operations have arrested 16 suspects allegedly involved in different criminal activities including dacoity, drug peddling and other street crimes in Karachi.
One of the suspects namely Ateeq, arrested from Chakiwara, was allegedly involved in many cases of taking protection money (bhatta).
The officers also seized illegal weapons and ammunition, smuggled goods and drugs from their custody. The suspects were handed over to police for further legal action.
