Elite Force should only be used in high-profile cases: IG Punjab
IG Punjab met under training personnel of Elite force
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Inspector General Punjab Shoaib Dastagir directed that Elite Force should only be used in high-profile cases, operations and terrorist attacks.
IG Punjab visited Elite Force Training Centre Bedian where Additional IG Elite Force Shahid Haneef briefed him about force’s performance.
During the meeting, IG said that Elite Force is a specialized force which shouldn’t be used for protocols and unnecessary duties. He also directed to improve response rate of the force.
IG Punjab also met under training personnel of Elite force and directed officials to provide best health facilities to the personnel.
