Wildlife Dept foils attempt to smuggle wild animals
Judicial Magistrate fined Rs10,000 to each accused
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Wildlife Department on Monday arrested wildlife smugglers during a raid near Girjakhi Gate.
According to details, Wildlife Department’s timely raid foiled an attempt of smuggling wild animals and arrested two who used to smuggle birds and animals to Punjab and Sindh.
During raid one deer, 21 Greylag goose, three wild Chakur, two black Perdicinae and meat of wild animals were recovered.
Judicial Magistrate fined Rs10,000 to each accused and ordered to auction recovered birds.
