Drop scene: Fiance involved in Ravinder Singh's murder.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The drop scene of 25-year-old Sikh Ravinder Singh’s murder has occurred as his fiancé was involved in the killing, Dunya News reported on Friday.
The suspect, Prem Kumari, paid Rs 7 lac to a hired assassin to murder Ravinder Singh as she did not want to marry him. Prem Kumari called her fiancé to Mardan with the help of a female friend.
The victim was then abducted and taken to a colony in Mardan. Ravinder Singh was shot in the head and his dead body was moved to Peshawar due to fear of being traced.
Police have arrested Prem Kumari and the hired assassin. The car which was used in the activity, murder weapon and money have been recovered as well. Prem Kumari was produced before the court afterwards.
It is pertinent here to mention that Ravinder Singh’s dead body was found from Chamkani – a neighborhood of Peshawar.
