Gun attack injures investigation officer in Mureed Abbas murder case
Doctors said that Ghous Alam was in critical condition due to neck injury.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Four unidentified armed bikers on Wednesday opened fire at Sub-Inspector Ghous Alam’s car in Karachi’s Khudadad Colony and seriously wounded him.
According to details, the victim was shifted to the city’s Jinnah Hospital where doctors said that he is in critical condition due to neck injury.
While taking notice of the attack, Inspector General in Police (IGP) Sindh Kaleem Imam has directed the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East to submit details of the incident.
Posted at investigation department, Ghous Alam was probing high profile cases including murder case of anchor Mureed Abbas. He had also detained suspect Atif Zaman’s brother and co-accused Adil Zaman three hours before the attack.
Moreover, investigation into the matter has been launched to nab the culrpits.
