LAHORE (Dunya News) – A case has been registered against six police officials including in charge investigation for allegedly torturing a suspect to death.

As per details, Lahore police have arrested in charge investigation Inspector Nasir over the alleged torture on a suspect in South Kent police station while Sub Inspector Zeshan is on the run.

Lahore police spokes said 4 constables have also been named in the FIR, adding that they would also be arrested after formal investigation. He said SHO has been suspended in Amir Masih torture case and SSP discipline Faisla Mukhtar is conducting departmental inquiry.

A post-mortem report of Amir Masih — a gardener who died after being illegally detained in an alleged police torture cell in Lahore — showed that there were torture marks on various parts of his body, it emerged on Sunday.
