'#JusticeForHunain' trends in Pakistan to seek justice for teenager beaten to death by teacher
Hunain used to study at a private school in Gulshan-e-Ravi in grade 10.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Social media users on Friday took to the internet and sought justice with ‘#JusticeForHunain‘ for the teenager, Hafiz Hunain Bilal, who was allegedly beaten to death by his teacher upon not memorizing the lesson.
A girl, Ayesha Sattar, who identified herself as the relative of the victim, expressed, “My cousin’s son Hunain Bilal was killed by his computer teacher Kamran. Hunain was tortured by the teacher on not learning the lesson. He smashed his head on the wall, Hunain become unconscious and died on the spot.”

Another user, Rimsha Naeem, took to Twitter and said that her cousin, Hunain, left them too soon aching their hearts.

Many notable figures took notice of the incident and offered condolences on the death of young soul.
Minister for Economic Affairs Division Hammad Azhar also eyed the matter and vowed to personally monitor and deal with the case as per law.

Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari called the act "absolutely horrible" and called for the expedition of the Corporal Punishment Bill.

As per details, the tragic incident happened at a private school of Gulshan-e-Ravi area where a student of grade 10, Hunain Bilal, was killed for not learning the lesson.
An eye witness said student was punched repeatedly, grabbed by hair and hit against the wall by his head, all the while yelling at him upon not memorizing the lesson of computer subject and not bringing book along with him to the school.
The aggrieved family demanded of strict action against teacher to avoid such incidents in future.
The teacher and principle has been arrested and body of the student has been sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.
