Two policemen martyred, one critically injured in Islamabad firing
Search for the unidentified shooter has been commenced by law enforcement.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Two police officers were martyred and one was seriously injured in firing on a police checkpost in the vicinity of Sabzi Mandi in Islamabad.
According to the details, an unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at a police checkpost in the I-10 area of Islamabad which critically wounded a personnel and killed two others. The injured officer was immedialty shifted to the Carriage Factory Hospital for medical assistance.
Unidentified shooter easily managed to escape the crime scene. Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies cordoned off the whole area and commenced a search operation to arrest the criminals involved in the incident.
Khurram and Saqlain were the names of officers who embraced martyrdom whereas injured policeman is said to be Jahanzaib.
