Anchor murder case: Suspect Atif Zaman refuses to record confessional statement

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anchor Mureed Abbas’ murder case has taken another turn as the suspect Atif Zaman has refused to record his confessional statement. Atif said he has hired a lawyer and he would fight this case in the court of law.

On the other hand suspect Atif Zaman in a video message said he used to get commission of Rs200 to Rs 500 for each tyre. He said I had no business rather I used to make profit from money.

He said a shop of tyres was opened for anchor’s brother in Mianwali and I used to send tyres to that shop. He said a profit of 2 lacs was given on investment of 1 million. He said 20 to 25 % profit was given to investors.
