PFA recovers adulterated palm oil

14,215 liter of unhealthy oil was recovered during the raid of PFA.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has caught two trucks of adulterated palm oil that was being supplied to be used in food.

As per details, 14,215 liter of unhealthy oil was recovered during the raid of PFA. The oil was collected for use in soap industry.

DG PFA captain (r) Usman said the oil was being transported from Patoki and Dina Nath. He said this adulterated oil is used in dairy products instead of animal fats. He said this oil is also used in milk to make it thicker.

He said this unhealthy oil when used in daily life products can cause cancer and other deadly diseases.
