12-year-old maid beaten brutally in Gujranwala
The house worker was shifted to Lahores hospital after suffering injuries.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – In another case of abuse against domestic servants, a minor maid was beaten brutally in Gujranwala district of Punjab. The house worker was shifted to Lahore’s hospital after suffering injuries.
According to Dunya News, the tragic incident happened at Noshehra Virkan where the wife of Waseem beat 12 year old Khadija and then burnt her body with hot iron.
The family of the victim said Khadija was house maid and she was beaten brutally with stick. They said Waseem’s wife burnt her naked body with an iron. The family said police is refusing to register a case against the suspect.
