Rajanpur: Six shot dead in tribal clash

RAJANPUR (Web Desk) - At least six people were killed and several others injured in an armed clash between two tribes in Rajanpur district of Punjab on Saturday.
According to media reports, the clash which started with a petty conflict over a motorcycle soon turned into a physical fight.
The two sides exchanged harsh words at first and members of the two sides started throwing kicks and punches at each other before resorting to firing in Rojhan Katch tehsil. Firing killed two people on the spot while injuring seven others.
The injured and dead bodies were taken to the district headquarter hospital, where four more people succumbed their wounds, raising the death toll to six.
The exchange of fire continued till the filing of this report as more policemen were called in to control the situation.
