Haripur: Man kills wife for refusing to transfer property
The victim's son Afnan told the police that his father wanted his mother house.
HARIPUR (Online): An infuriated man allegedly stabbed to death his wife over a property dispute in Haripur on Friday.
Musrat Shaheen had married Haq Nawaz some years ago. The couple had a heated debate when Nawaz forced Shaheen to transfer house documents over his name.
Nawaz got angry and attacked his wife with a dagger and killed her on the spot.
Shaheen was working at District Headquarters Hospital Haripur. She constructed a house on self help basis but her husband was forcing her to transfer the house ownership over his name.
The deceased had left three young children.
Shaheen’s brother in his complaint against the suspected murder told the police that his brother in law was forcing his sister to transfer her property documents on his name.
The victim’s son Afnan told the police that his father wanted his mother house on his name but his mother didn’t want so.
