CTD detains four target killers in Karachi
(SSP) Murtaza said that arrested target killers include Nemat Ali, Salman Hashmi, Nasir and Irfan.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday apprehended at least four target killers during a raid in Sarjani Town of the metropolis.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Murtaza Bhutto said that the arrested target killers include Nemat Ali, Salman Hashmi, Nasir and Irfan.
He said that Irfan was involved in target killing of more than five persons.
Murtaza Bhutto further said that the detained target killer of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London’s (MQM-London) was involved in the targeted killing of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) workers Nazeer Ahmad in 2009 and Muhammad Azhar in 2010.
The nabbed accused have also confessed to their involvement in the targeted killings of more than eight persons
