Drug smuggling case: Czech model sentenced to over eight years in prison
Model Tereza broke into tears after hearing the decision.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A sessions court in Lahore has sentenced Czech model Tereza Hluskova, who was arrested last year for trying to smuggle heroin from Pakistan to Abu Dhabi, to eight years and eight months in the jail.
According to details, additional session judge Shahzad Raza announced the verdict and directed the model to also submit Rs1.13 lac as fine.
The model broke into tears and said that she came to Pakistan for work purpose but someone put narcotics into her bag during her return.
Tereza said that she will challenge the verdict in Lahore High Court (LHC).
