Laborer kills wife, three children for honor in Manga Mandi

MANGA MANDI (Dunya News) – Pitiless laborer on Wednesday has killed his wife and three children for honor in Manga Mandi.
According to police, the suspect had doubt on his wife character due to which he stabbed her and three children with axe whereas one child sustained severe wounds.
The security personnel have arrested the suspect and launched an investigation into the matter.
The menace of honour killings is rampant in Pakistan. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has reported an average of 650 honour killings over the past decade.
The number is likely to be much higher as most of such cases in remote areas go unreported.
