MIAN CHANNU (Dunya News) – A woman allegedly threw her two daughters in Mailsi Link Canal while trying to elope with her paramour, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Rukhsana Bibi was eloping with Qamar when the locals chased them down and the woman threw her two daughters, 7-year-old Ayesha and 3-year-old Kainat, in the canal. The details were shared by her husband, Shabbir.
The suspect is a resident of village 84/15L. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Chab Kalan Police Station informed that both Rukhsana Bibi and Qamar have been arrested. Furthermore, Rescue 1122 is conducting search operation to recover the minors.
