Three policemen arrested for torturing minor over theft allegations
The officers tortured the boy and also hanged him upside down to confess to the theft.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Three policemen including check post’s incharge have been arrested for injuring eight-year-old boy with iron and heater on mobile phone theft allegation in Lahore.
According to details, the officers tortured the boy and also hanged him upside down for confession to the crime.
Victim’s paternal uncle told that few days ago, an unknown boy came and took Ahmed with him to a mobile phone shop. He then stole two mobile phones by showing Ahmed as his younger brother.
Ahmed has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical assistance while a case has also been registered against the police officers Saeed Ahmed, Asad Latif and Faisal Ashraf.
