LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore police have decided to put kite maker under house arrest to tackle murderous play of kite flying in the provincial capital and other cities of the Punjab, Dunya News reported today (Saturday).

According to details, Lahore police have compiled the data of kite makers to initiate a crackdown against the professional kite makers.

Dunya News further revealed that at least 90 shortlisted kite makers` names have been sent to their relevant Superintendent Police (SP), Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) and Station Police Officers (SHOs).

However, these culprits would be put under the house arrest for 30 days and in this regard special teams have also been formed.

"More than 16 cases have been reported during the ongoing year," Lahore Police revealed.
