KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi City Court on Tuesday approved the physical remand of the man who killed a local named Munawwar in the presence of police allegedly due to a family dispute.
New Town police produced Sohail Mughal before judicial magistrate, east following which he was sent on a three-day remand.
The suspect asked court to sentence him to death if his children do not return. “I killed the man for honour. It was a burden on me,” he maintained.
On Sunday, Sohail was transported in a police van from Darakhshan police station to the residence of Munawwar in Bahadurabad on court orders to recover Sohail’s former wife and three children.
