KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Suspect who killed local in presence of police has recorded his statement claiming that he was intended to kill Munawwar, lawyer and Inspector.
According to the details of the statement of Sohail, Munawwar, lawyer Roshan Murtaza and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officer Shahbaz because they were involved in his separation with his previous wife and sold his flat and FIA officer has also taken hold of his money.
The culprit told in the statement that he carried a gun with him when he visited police station. He asserted that he will kill lawyer and FIA officer after being released from jail.
Earlier, on Sunday, a man was shot to death in Bahadurabad area due to ‘police negligence.
Acting on a court order, Sohail was brought by police to Bahadurabad to recover his wife from the house of Munawwar.
Sohail shot and killed Munawwar.
“Four policemen have been suspended and an inquiry is under way,” Tahir Noorani, a senior police officer said.
The assailant had filed an abduction case against Munawwar, which was quashed by the court. The court, however, ordered the police to recover his family.
Sohail’s wife had reportedly moved due to a fight with him.
