Karachi: Woman dies after being allegedly set on fire by husband
The victim Salma remained under treatment in the hospital for two days.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A woman, who was allegedly set on fire by her husband, succumbed to her burn injuries at Civil Hospital, Karachi on Tuesday.
The victim Salma remained under treatment in the hospital for two days; however, she could not survive and died today.
Her family has held Salma’s in-laws responsible for her death. Salma’s mother says that her husband Ahmed used to torture her daughter and had made her life miserable.
She has appealed the government to bring the culprits to justice.
The family says that the police was informed of the incident but no action has been taken by them.
