Officials have termed robbery 'suspicious'.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Robbers on Wednesday looted local and foreign currencies worth Rs15 million from two staffers of moneychanger in broad daylight in Civil Lines area of Lahore.

The robbery occurred on Lawrence Road.

As per details garnered, two employees, Faisal and Ayaz, of hapless money changer Naeem were travelling in mini-van along with PKR 3.1 million and 71000 British Pounds. The robbers—who were chasing them—halted the van on gun point and looted the currency. The robbers also fired bullets at van but fortunately no one was injured.

Later, police officials arrived on the crime scene and collected evidence along with footage of close circuit television cameras (CCTV).
